Disney Interactive Studios’ newest release, Disney Infinity, is set to rival Skylanders in the arena of children’s gaming. Boasting a structured storyline for each character including fully fledged Disney licensing the title looks to be a great hit. Along with this mode comes the ‘Toy Box’ mode, featuring full customisation to allow for creation of personalised environments, characters and game modes to play in with friends and family. Recently, Disney announced that they would be bringing a stand-alone digital variation of Toy Box mode to PC’s sometime very soon.
In the recent bundle of screenshots, Disney have displayed some possible game modes and worlds that you will be able to experience and create upon getting your hands on the game. Among these are a soccer stadium used to play ‘Pinball Soccer’ and ‘Gladiator Soccer’, a stunt jump racetrack for as many Johnny Depp’s as you can possibly find as well as a time trial challenge course with basketball hoops and adventure courses. For fans of customisable content and community creations, this looks like Disney heaven!
Disney Infinity is available now in retail stores on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, 3DS and Ipad, with the downloadable Toy Box mode being made available on PC digital stores sometime this month.
